Yeah it was that originally so kept with it. The decals was a nightmare to do. But well and it brings back an old bike back to it peak and keeps the CBR600F alive

The first side no did dry .and they went on terrible learning curve at that point only a cpl of videos on youtube that was of any use , so sent the other side to.the vinyl shop round the corner to replicate both sides complete x 2 sets for fraction of the cost of the originals tho the second set was wet applied and some.went on better but keeping the lines over dips and bends which is quite tricky as one line would be a shorter route if that makes sense and when they are on backed paper the same length they dont just lay straight.on not easy at all and the shear size and length of them didnt help

A note.on the above she flew the mot no advisories. And to.say this is the first restoration project we have done we learned a lot the tank will come back.off and be done again that to the so called petrol resitant laquer so that will be taken off we will respray cut back decal.and then send into a pro sprayer for laquer and a bake to cure

I add a little dish soap to the wet spray to give it more lubrication to be able to slide the decals into place.
On complicated ones like the F1 side stripes I lay them on the surface dry and mark the locations before I try to apply them.
2K Epoxy Clear on tanks is a must to protect them from fuel. You can get it in spray cans and apply yourself.
