I finally ran my 05 1K last night for the first time. I only got to run 3 times but I turned a 10.95, 11.33 (Almost flipped on the launch so my time was slow), and the last run was a 10.93. I love my 1K.

 

Ran 10.5@138 I think (looking for the time slip). Bike has a Micron slip on and the flapper mod, otherwise stock. Was having some real traction issues that day, either the rear snapped free off the launch, front lifted at the start of 2nd, or the rear end broke free at the top of 2nd. Hope to get back once the track is broken in alittle more and run faster.

I see you also had a 929, ever run that on the 1/4? My best on the 929 was 11.121@127.85

 

My first time at the track I ran 10.8 and could be alot better if I could get a good start. My bike is completely stock. Got on a friends Busa and ran 10.3.

 

I was timid the other night at the track cause it was so sticky and I didn't want to flip. So once I get confident enough to launch the way I do on the street i'll be runnin around 10.5's also. I had a blast though because I ride with a bunch of R1's who hate Honda because it's underpowered and all that other stuff and they were mad cause wifey recorded me spankin all there azzezz. They were runnin 11.1's and crying that if the track was 20 ft longer they would have caught me and all that but all I did was point to the score board and say I crossed the line first.

 

Runnin1000, good job on whoopin them, lol. I have GSX-R guys I ride with and it seems everytime I stop to get gas another one wants to race my slow CBR. I am gonna do a few mods and see if they can backup all the talk.
