Default What's the best way

Hi, what's the best way to remove hydraulic fluids from the breaks and cluch? Also the water from the coolant system? This is the part of the strip down I've not done before. Thanks.

Jack,
I use a Mighty Vac to drain fluids from clutch and brakes. I just did a clutch slave/master cylinder rebuild and the Mighty Vac was awesome. No mess at all. As for the coolant just sit a bucket around 18 inches from the water pump and let her go !!!!! Flush it with the drain screw still out and re fill. They are pretty easy jobs compared to some. Good luck.

Thanks. The water won't be going back in but I will flush it all out with a good amount of water, it's the bike break down.

If you're stripping the bike, it's a good idea to reverse flush the radiator, will help to get rid of any crud and maximise the efficiency of the cooling system
