Default Uneven exhaust

I've noticed, on these very cold mornings and with the choke out, that there's more pollution coming out of one can than the other. Is this engine-related or just one of the cans? The bike's 23 years old and not serviced for as long as I can remember, but she still frightens me sometimes so I don't think there's any major loss of power.
Thanks all

Center stand or side stand?
Heat rises and moisture settles.
Just thinking out loud.

Flow on a stock set of Dual Cans and even some aftermarket dual Can solutions
is always less on the left side due to the fact the link pipe on that side is narrowed
in order to clear the center stand and not impact the chain travel

Such as these from SandysBikeSpares , illustrate the issue well

Stock can have an elongated flattened pipe on the left side can

in order to clear the center stand and not impact the chain travel
