Spark Plug Question
Guys,
I bought some iridium plugs today from the USA and he sent the DPR8EIX-9 instead of the DPR9EIX-9. The 8 number represents the heat rating. Will an 8 heat rating plug be ok in this bike. From what I can see on the NGK website the 8 will run hotter than the 9 but I dont know by how much and what this will do in relation to heat etc.. I don't want to put them in and it cause some damage etc. I'd appreciate any opinions from anyone that knows more about this than me. If it ends up that they are ok to use I will and just let the guy know he sent me the wrong ones. Thanks in advance.

I just got them to see how they went. They claim lower fuel consumption, longer life, smoother engine running and improved ignition efficiency giving enhanced power and acceleration. ( qouting from the box ). I'll see how that goes and if they dont prove to be any different from standards I'll go back to them next time. Plus they are 30 dollars each here and I got em for $50 AUD posted to my front door. I love a bargain !!!!!
