Shift light

Hey im just wondering if anyone has installed a shift light on a 1000f. i realize i shouldnt be looking at my tach when going that fast. i also take my bike to a local track about every other weekend.

When the power starts to fad, its time to shift.
You can take it to into the red but I fine the power drops off before that and shift.

I read some wear after 7800-10500 it uses cylinders #1&#4 to continue to run #2&3 shut off to prevent engine damage .
