Regulator/ Rectifier???

Regulator/ Rectifier???
So I have been searching the net for months (actually almost a year) and can not find any that are in stock. What is with these things?
Why is nobody making these for our bikes? Every site I go to says they are out of stock on the Electrosport Regulators.
Does anyone know where I can get one?
Thanks
I can't even ride my bike because it will not charge the battery at all. After taking the bike off the charger and starting it and letting it run for 5-10 minutes you can go back and try to start it and it will be almost completely dead. I would like to ride my bike this summer but need this part to do so.

I don;t think Electrosport is making them anymore, but Electrex in UK is and they have a bunch of them in stock. Shipping isn't too bad for across the pond, and it will come pretty quick. Just got mine a couple months ago and it seems like a pretty solid piece compared to OEM, and it has a massive heat sink. Good luck!

Searching for months? I litterly just now typed it in google and an ebay listing came up straight away. New Honda Rectifier Voltage Regulator CBR 1000F 1991 1995 1992 1993 1994 | eBay I mean sure its not the cheapest in the book, but it is there. I am sure if I actually searched a bit more I could find some...but like guy said up there, that company dont make them anymore so you may have just been keeping tabs on the wrong company.

If you can't find one, you could try Rick's in Massachusetts. If they don't make one, they might be able to rebuild the one you have. Give 'em a ring, they have excellent customer service and usually stand behind their product... well, as much as you can with such a fickle item like a R/R.

Ok thanks guys. I seen the Rick's but was looking for a Electrosport. Didn't know they quit making them. I seen the others on e-bay and just didn't know the quality of them so I was trying to find the other. I will have to look into the Electrex one and see if not I guess the only other options is Rick's.

I'm sure you've already seen Naga's write-up on this already, but just in case:
https://skydrive.live.com/view.aspx?...=WordPdf&wdo=2
good discussion about R/R's:
https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f...38/r-r-139522/
and some comments about the Electrex unit in this thread:
https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-1000f...-china-135622/
So unless anything has changed, Rick's is still just an OEM Honda and the eBay version is the wrong type even though they still say it will fit.
When I couldn't find an electrosport R/R I picked up the Electrex one and decided to bite the bullet and install a lithium battery at the same time. The electrex is about twice as big as the Honda part. Most of that is heat sink, but the unit itself is also bigger. Only time will tell if this is a long term fix. Good luck!
cheers
