Question Reasonable price for my 96??

Hey all, I'm the original owner of my 96 and am contemplating selling it. My bike has less than 6,000 miles and is really in pristine to mint condition. It's seen rain only once and is all stock with exception of windscreen. My carbs need to be cleaned out and re-calibrated most likely as I can't keep an idle, (probably from lack of use and sitting during the past winter).
My question to you guys is what would be a respectable asking price? What would it also cost in labor for cleaning out the carbs and setting the idle correctly? I'd take that off the asking price. I also have two brand new tires waiting to be installed which I'd include.

BTW.. I'm in Long Island, NY so I'm not sure if that would affect the pricing or not.
I'm attaching two pics showing the condition of my bike.

Thanks for your time and suggestions.

Not sure what its worth in the old US of A but in Ireland you'd probably get about 2250 euros (thanks to the recession). Lovely bike, reminds me of my first 1kf. Come to think of it how much would it cost to ship to Ireland...
A service, some seafoam and a good run might sort out the idle issue.

Blimey! ... It's not even run in yet!

If you pay my airfare over, I'll come over and collect it for free if yer really stuck for space! lol

Joking aside .... bikes like this: 1 owner & low mileage ... can command some high prices here in the UK ... I'd be inclined to ask stupid money for it initially and see what reaction you get! Say, around £3000 (UK).... if it's THAT nice, you'd probably get it! Modern classics seem to be fetching good money here ATM ... There was a Suzuki GT750 on Fleabay the other day that made £10,000 :O ... It was mint tho!

I'll still try to find the time to come over and collect it for free tho .... if it's in yer way! lol

id say you can get at least $3k for it. if you find someone really looking for this bike you might be able to get $5-6k.

on avg about $2k, maybe more if someone was wanting it to add to their collection.

My question is htf do you own a bike for 14 year and only put 6k on it?

Kelly Blue Book lists the suggested retail for that model here in Missouri at $3,130. It lists the trade-in value at $2,125 It doesn't mention anything about condition or miles.

Yeah but yal are not taking in effect that it is the same color as Trouts . You have to take $1000 off the price cause of that...

I would give $2000 cash for it right now if I were close enough to come and get it.

thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Had a few laughs with the responses, PlayfulGod I get that question all the time, a quick response to why so low, was when I first picked her up in winter of 96/97 I had two other friends who had bikes. So we rode mostly on weekends with any type of miles (I live on long island, so going to the hamptons, montauk was about 100 miles round trip). But soon after, all my friends got rid of theirs and I basically drove alone. Then I had two girls, and working in the city took away all my time. But the bike is in awesome condition, no scratches and garaged since day one.
Any thoughts on how much a carb cleaning would cost? it will only keep idle if the choke is on full and if i give it gas it konks out.
The thing is, is that a friend of mine moved back to Poland and he has someone interested in buying it. They would pay for shipping it over.
appreciate the responses thanks!
