I'm told the irridiums last a lot longer, and are SUPPOSED to be superior. At 3x the price I'm not interested. There's a lot of 9 plugs std ones on e-Bay ATM - cheap.

regular ole ngks is what i use. Why use $100 worth of iridiums? Call me cheap but i can get 10K out of regular plugs so why spend the extra $$?

I'm also thinking of doing mine atm and was discussing this today with a mate. He was of the opinion that iridiums were better in fuel injected bikes and carbed bikes stick with standard plugs. Like I said its an opinion and I know there will be differing ones as there is with oil, tyres etc. I want to change mine just so I know they are done. I will check them first and see how they are and make a decision from there.

I've never been convinced that it's worth it, either. Plus, on our bikes it's so easy to get to the plugs. Many other bikes.... not so easy.
