Question Picked up my 2nd '87 Hurricane 1000 yesterday.

Have owned my 1st since 1989. The 2nd one is not running even though the buyer said it had last run 1 yr ago. W/out too much detail I got a surprise when I got home and began digging. The 2nd was bought for one piece of bodywork and then I planned to sell it immediately, but before i do i want to see if it does start since that would help resale.

My issue is the starter relay will not click when starter button is pressed. Relay is getting power, however there is no power on the starter motor side. Relay is good because it worked on the other bike. Thoughts?

Have shop manual and will tackle ignition and starter switches tomorrow. Now it's time for beer and football.
