Default Part# needed please for fuel overflow funnel SOLVED THANKS

I need one of the funnel shaped rubber parts that catches overflow from the fuel tank and drains it via a hose to the underside of the bike. I can't seem to find it in the parts diagrams - anyone got a honda part# for it?

Thanks
Kevin.

What year?

This is the part number for an '87 overflow cup Look on the air cleaner fiche
17235-MM5-000

Same part number for the 1988 model as well. Cannot find a listing for an 1989 bike.

Don't know if your bike is more akin to the early models or to a 1990. Somebody else may have that info. I guess there were no '89 bikes in the States

Here's the part number for the 1990 model
17235-MS2-000

Part numbers via cheapcycleparts.com fiches

Thanks for that. Its actually a FK model, from what I've seen, it seems to be essentially the same as the 88 US model (I think).

#17235-MM5-000 should be the right part.

Cheers
Kevin.

$4.86 to $5.12 pretty sure the piggy bank won't throw an oring on the 26 cent difference

I got 3 recently the 26 cent less ones - for each generation of bike !

Yes I've noticed a while back mine are crack and perished on both bikes. Its always good to have excess fuel channelled to the correct places so I'll order a couple tmrw when I order a gasket for the clutch slave cylinder. Can't find any of those on fleabay.
