Thumbs up Old "new" member - pick up my 2nd CBR1000F soon!

Hi all,

I used to be on here a while back. I owned a '95 CBR1000F 5 or so years ago which i sold, moved on and owned various different bikes over the years i have now just bought another one (93' CBR1000FP) so sort have come full circle! I pick her up this weekend and really looking forward to owning another - will post up some pics when i get her.

Here's a few pics of my old '95 model, one of when i first had it and another after doing some upgrades and alterations. I have great memories of this bike and spent many happy miles riding and time working on it. I bought a ZZR1100 after selling it and although the ZZR was a good bike, in hindsight i preferred the CBR and wished i hadn't sold it.

Welcome back to the CBR Forum - and to CBR1000F ownership.

They're a little like Tim Tams.........................Moorish.

Cheers, SB

Cheers for the welcome guys,

I've found some more pictures of my old '95 1kf after i'd done her up that i thought were lost - will post them up soon.

I recently sold my TL1000R which was my pride and joy, but circumstances have changed as they do and i was a good opportunity to get another 1kf.

Not long to go now before picking up the '93 FP, i have also picked up a Triumph TT600 to keep her company and as a second runabout bike. The CBR will mainly get used for longer trips and taking the missus out on the back like the old days!

Although i have no idea what "Tim Tams" are!

Bite off diagonal corners of fridge chilled biscuits and suck milk through them. There's no wonder at all I'm the size of a small block of flats.

So, the thing is, if you ever venture Downunder, grab a packet (or two) of Tim Tams and indulge!

Cheers, SB
