Default Nice cans???

Hi all ... my 1kF is running great and is being used as my daily transport... Woohoo!!!

The factory exhausts are looking a bit shabby, so I'm thinking about treating the old girl to some shiney new cans.

I've spotted these on EBay and would appreciate your comments/input before I shell out my hard earned.....

PS.... I'm not bothered if they aren't quite legal .... loud pipes save lives, right?

I have also pm'd them to double check that they will fit my Gen 1.

SS70 Stainless Twin Muffler Exhaust Silencer Set Honda CBR1000F 87-99 HURRICANE | eBay

Edit: my headers & collector are pretty mint, so no worries there...

Cheers all .... Be safe

Very sexy Shakey Great price as well, especially if you can find a UK supplier at that price.

Thumbs up UK availability

Shakey,

Delkovic and Aracpovic exhausts are, I believe available in UK. There are often used by dealers to offer as 'upgrades' for buyers.

Google should find some dealers. Nice cans - similar size to mine but shinier.

Cheers

Rick

Those pipes will be a bit louder than your old standard ones, Shakey - deeper tone than standard, more rumble - less like an asthmatic Morris Minor I have a set made locally about the same size. They are quiet enough to keep you on the right side of the law when running below 6000 but they howl when you get the revs up.........
I love mine !
Not a bad price
Maybe you could have them sent over by a "friend" in the US as a present - save import duty ?

And those Delkevics would cost you $1000 MINIMUM here !
If my mates ZZR is anything to go by you should get around +4 extra BHP - midrange power will improve slightly too
FWIW

I shortened the cans on my '88 (acerbis) and repacked them but still had to make up some db killers just for sanitys sake.

Looking at those beasts your '88 is going to sound pretty mean.

You might find that after a few weeks your neighbours will be setting up on a grassy knoll with a patsy and a few dum dums...

Didn't somebody a year or so ago post pics and a vid on their Del cans?
They bought the 18 inch round ones if I remember right. Lot of beer through the pipes since then
