Hi again Shaun.
To answer your questions :-
1 Yes. They can be de-linked. A search will reveal all, if you get no joy get back to us
2 Could be a lot of things, but first do you have end weights on your bars?
3 Each to his own, but I like the standard set up. It's doable and has been done, once again the search button is your friend

Speak for yourself Woof, I'm only a year older at 1960. Still in my daipers! Oh! That's 'cause I'm intercontinental......................
Welcome to the group, dive right in, the water's fine
And the CBR1000F is a mighty fine bike.

Welcome Shaun, I see you live in Derbyshire, I usually get up the Cat 'n Fiddle most Tuesday evenings for a ride out and coffee, weather and daylight permitting, (yep the evenings are closing in).
Otherwise I am a regular Rivington Barn visitor on Sundays, again weather permitting, (you might see a theme coming here), might see you out and about.
Great forum, loads of advice and information, and yes I am past the 50 mark, just coming up to my 57th birthday end of October.
Cheers, Steve
