Default Michelin Pilot Road 3's

Just interested to see if anyone else running these tyres on their 1000f's....?
I 've just had a set fitted, with a 180 rear. I have experience with the Pilot Road 2's on my old 1050 Sprint and they inspired so much confidence in the wet and proved to be very hard wearing that i thought as soon as the Bridgestones on my 1990 CBR1000FL wore out i'd get the PR 3's fitted.
So far with a severe lack of rain in South East England I haven't ridden her in the wet, but already the whole 'feel' of the bike with new rubber feels so much better.

Hi Dave, Guys on here have used the PR2's but I think they've lasted so well no-ones got around to the PR3's yet.

New tyres always feel great

Looks like you're the guinea pig for the new rubber, keep us up-dated

I have about 300 miles on my PR3's so far. I liked my PR2's better than the Pilot Powers that were on there b4, but I only got 4500 miles out of the PR2's before they wore out.

I attribute that to aggressive riding and bad Missouri roads' though.

PR3's feel great so far, but no rain yet.

I just got back from a very wet race day at Brands Hatch and I have a feeling some of the guys risking life and limb out on the track may well have been wishing they were riding PR3's, a long way from the track. Total carnage on the track after someone emptied a tank of gas almost the whole way round.

Anyway, keep us posted on the tyres man, I'll be out looking for new rubber in a couple of thou!
My PR1 & 2 combination worked very nicely in the wet today. Still had a couple of wheel spins though.
