Live and learn.
Note: this post is informational only. While suggestions are welcome, I've already decided what to do.
The paint thing is getting stressful.
The local CarQuest color matched the red and black and mixed them. No luck. So with help from here the correct colors, Passion Red, Haze Gray and whatever the black is called were determined and codes for each acquired from the local Honda shop. Those were given to CarQuest. I asked them to mix the black and gray but had them hold off on the red until a touchup sample arrived. That was a mistake. The touchup paint got here, Passion Red is the color. Yay!! CarQuest is unable to find a code to mix the red. Boo!
On to Color Rite (why didn't I go there in the first place? Supporting the local brick and mortar I guess.) They have it. So now I have three cans of acrylic enamel from Car Quest and three cans of urethane (two color, one primer) coming from Color Rite.
An internet search reveals that using the two types next to each other either will or will not work. Color Rite's tech line indicated the it mostly likely would be okay, but check it out.
I'm going to make a test run on a sheet of ABS with the types next to each other and see if it works. If it does I save $$$. If it doesn't I order more paint from Color Rite.
And you'll all get to see the results. Exciting, isn't it?

Correct the urethane and the acrylic do not a good marriage make.
I had a mixing formulation I shared with Shadow a few years back relative to
the Color combo on our 1990 Hurricanes ........ it was urethane based
and the spec's came from Belgium and took some serious persuading by
my brother in law ( who's in the Automotive Refinishing Supply Biz) to
get it, as now all EU paints are mandated to be water based only.
Colorite would be your best bet but it is mucho $$$$, not to say though
you could not mask off one against the other. I'm interested to see the
end result. 3M make a great thin no bleed green masking tape btw
