Default I have a few questions & need some help

I have a 1988 cbr1000f and I need some help, first I am in need of some plastics, let's just say all of them lol, any I idea of where to look for them, secondly, I just bought some perilla diablo rosso II, I moved down to a 70 series tires instead of the 80, I kept the width the same ( 140 & 110 ) do I need to worry about any negative side effects? All and anyhelpful guidance and tips would be great

1 Best option is parted out bikes, scrapyards or e-Bay UK is best
2 do I need to worry about any negative side effects?

Airtech have replacement fairings for the 87 and 88 models mate. Check this link out. I'm not sure if your in the USA or not though. Like the rest of us and as Shadow said, CONSTANT checking of Ebay over a long time has sourced all of us many parts. I have parts on hand that aren't made by Honda any more just in case of a breakage or whatever. Fairings are very difficult to get hold of in any condition. Airtech make it easy for the 87 and 88 owners though. They don't do them for the later models. Cheers.

Too true, Geoff !
I have been in touch with one of our new forum sponsors to see if they'd be willing to do Mk2 and 3 fairings.....let's see what they say.

I just bought some perilla diablo rosso II
Nice tyres but they don't last very long. Great grip while they do..........

Michelin PR2 or Bridgy bt 021/023 work best on these bikes for me. I've tried them all pretty much and find these to wear and grip the best and are best value for money imo.

That sucks, hopeful I'll be able to get atleast 5k out of them, I want to get 10k this year, got 2 so far, this winter I want to rip it down, beef the motor up some and change the rear swing arm and forks with a 90s so I can get bigger tires, not a fan of bias tires
