Default hose replacement - carb rebuild

Cleaning up the carbs on my '93.

Check this part fiche , #32 bent hose.

Removed it, and #34, and they are hard as a rock (not surprised), but not cracked or compromised in any way.

What have folks done as a replacement?

Use a 90 degree fitting at the "bent" end and simply use 3/8" fuel hose ?

The part is not avail with Partzilla but is for sale with many others for about US$10, so why not go genuine?

That particular long one is formed thicker and semi rigid so it won't sag/droop, kink or vapor lock with engine heat

I'd stick with oem and not go with regular soft unsupported fuel line which may not feed carbs one and two very
effectively if it sags

So maybe I have this all rwong?

I thought it's rigid as a side effect of being subjected to constant heat like most rubber hose.

So if this is by design, and I see no cracking, am I okay?

How do I test for acceptible pliability ?

It's a challenge maintaining four different types of bikes with completely different technology and personality

well if the ends are cracked through to the insides at the T's then replace of not
carry on riding and I'd hold off trying a pliability test as bending it will probably
induce premature cracking given it's age(assuming it's an oem line/hose). Simply
put unless it's leaking at the T's reuse it.
