Talking Highway cruising speed

Although I prefer twisties, you have to get to them which means you have to take the highway most of the time... My question is ; What highway cruising speed do you feel that the 1F is most comfy at? To explain the speed at which you feel the mortorcycle is at her sweet spot , everything is smooth yet you go fast. I know everyone of us has to abid speed law ( except some lucky guys from Germany), but without taking this in consideration. As for me anywhere between 140 and 160kph (88.77 to 99.41m)

Let me know your toughts!

Obviously, I'd never break the speed limit 'cos I'm an f'n so I cruise at 99kph . If, however, I wasn't so well behaved I'd agree with you. 140 is great if the roads are good and the cops aren't thick on the ground like here (nothing personal Bordo). I'd cruise at around 120-125kph as the fines get a bit steep above there and you can easily scrub off enough speed not to get pinged. When I lived in England 100mph+ was almost constant motorway speed but the lanes are wide and smooth enough for it to be quite safe.

Somewhere between 55 and 105

Correction delete somewhere and replace with anywhere

But round here 90 + gets ya free room and board for the night
and a good chance your bike will need some paint touch ups
from being towed

i usually run at 75 on the freeway, but depending upon space and a clear view of the oncoming road (watching for police) my bike LOVES to run at 90.

Speed limit here is 120 KPH or 75 MPH, but you have 10KPH leeway, so we run at around 130/135 KPH, around 5300 RPM with std gearing.

70 MPH is just a little over 4,000 RPM on my bike and seems like a good cruising speed.

My bike seems to run smoothest at 80mph (5000rpm). Some mornings lately that's the speed of traffic on I-84.

When the Missuss ask me how fast we are going I tell her what the tach says. She usually gets inquisitive around 5200RPM.

I agree with 5,200 to 5,300 rpm when she is coming alive.

100 mph is a comfortable speed on the highway/motorway shame the law doesn't share my views
