Had the same problem on my 94... Replaced it with pipe fitting connector T shaped, needed extra clamps but works like a charm! Cost? $5 bucks!

I have a 1993 model. Part was purchased from Partzilla

19501-MS2-000 JOINT, WATER HOSE (American Honda) $18.75. You should verify what part number yours is.

It's an easy part to replace. The fairing has to come off to get to it. It's on the right side.

I presume that is still plastic though?
When I replace mine I may look up the local hardware store for one made of brass or aluminum

It was CBR1988 - Dub - who made up the stainless 3 way hose joints. And incredibly fine pieces of kit they are. I have fitted one and have one spare (for the other CBR1000F). Dub is still around so it might be worth PMing him to see if he'd fabricate a few more for a group buy (CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners - View Profile: CBR1988).

Can you take a picture of your spare and post it? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Although my replacement fitting is OEM and made of the same material that failed, I figure it will last a good 20 years, by which time I'll be 74 and most likely sitting in a different type of two-wheeler. So I'm not going to worry about it too much!

Hope this help! Had some problems downloading image. Been a member for a while but never posted pics. Just posted 50+ pictures on my album "CBR1000F 94 cosmetic makeover". First time I do this and it's coming along GREAT! Here are some pics of brass pipe fitting T. $5 bucks! You will need to buy piping at your local automotive store and cut to fit.
