Help needed?
I have a Honda cbr 1000 F 1988 in my kitcar.
At 7000 to 8000 it's sounding very rough and almost stutters through.. Revs beautifully before and after that!
I have fuel pump and then a fuel pressure regulator a facet sytec wich is adjustable.
I think it still has the standard one with the vacuum hose on fitted after the facet one!?
What is the suggested fuel pressure for the bike? Do I need the standard regulater still.
Doing my head in now lol.
Cheers

Float levels need adjusting - seems it's running out gas at higher revs
Maybe check the float valve screens too they can become choked up
with gunk
Maybe a slightly larger set of mains jets too
I gravity fed my 87 as the fuel pump was giving me headaches - so
I would not think it runs high pressure - the mk2 89 - 1992 and the
mk3 93-96 are all gravity fed
