Default HELP!!!! Carb Parts needed......

So as many of you know by now I'm almost done with my frame off resto on my 90 CBR 1000f, having a hard time finding the vacuum piston diaphragm. I need two of these...part number

16111-MM5-692

Honda has discontinued these a long time ago.....

Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance!!!!

I gave up on trying to fix the carbs and took it to my motorcycle repair guy, he's telling me it is the vacuum piston diaphragm. Each carb has one and one of mine are bad but the part has been long discontinued from Honda....

that is what I need......

hi nicholas
i have spoken to nrp, they do these diaphrams, but usually you send them the complete diaphram and piston and they rebuild it with a new diaphram, it works out at £36.99 per carb plus postage, they will ship to most places,if you give them a call on uk so you will need dialing code then 0161832646 they may be able to just ship the diaphram to you (he said he will speak to the manager) hope this helps you out

Keihin 72mm diameter diaphragm Honda VT CBR Hurricane Installation

An option If the ebay ones are "swiss cheese" and or you feel new rubber
is the best way to go.

I got the ones from Ebay yesterday and they are off to the shop so hopefully I can be riding by this weekend!

The diaphragms looked good, hopefully I got lucky.

I'll know more in a couple of days.

Thanks guys for all the help
