Hagon Update
For those of you that are interested, I finally managed to get out for a proper ride on the bike today. First time since fitting the Hagon rear damper and the progressive fork springs.
Taken so long because we've had torrential rain, high winds, torrential rain and high winds, frost and any other type of sh1tty weather you can imagine imbetween
Conditions were'nt perfect today, but the best I'm likely to see in the next 4-5 months, damp roads, wet leaves, muddy patches, windy blah blah blah.
The great news is she handles like a new bike , she used to wallow in the corners (especially 2up) and turn in now, is a lot sharped and confidence inspiring.
Of course you become accustomed to the way your bike behaves and ride accordingly, so in some ways I'm re-learning my cornering tecnique. Corner speed right now is up by probably 10-15% and I'm having to keep an eye on the speedo. Found myself doing an indicated 110mph down a county lane because my exit speed from the coners is soooo much faster
Out of respect for other road users and my license I had to make a concerted effort to slow it down. On that type of road my max speed is normally 90 ish when deserted at 05:00 on a summer morning.
Even riding around town at slow commuting speeds, the difference is dramatic, so for anyone who's rear shock looks like this......
Change it for one of these.........
You'll love it and it's much cheaper than buying a new bike ...........
