Front/rear wheel stands for 1993 CBR1000F
I have just acquired a 1993 CBR1000F with 48,000 original miles. It's parked next to my red 1991. It smooth as silk. I have put about a 1000 mile shake down on it and have now started on a detailed tune up. So far I have put the proper slack in the throttle cable And ran a can of sea foam through the fuel tank. Now I have the proper snap back in the throttle and she runs like a scalded dog. This weekend comes new plugs and an oil change.
The reason for my question is this:
With my trusty Hanes manual in hand, I wanted to bleed the brakes down and replace the brake fluid. At the same time I want to replace the discs and replace the rotors. ( the rotors and discs don't seem bad but I just want to start from a known state.) As a result I need stands so I can pull the wheels off.
I looked at pit bull stands but they don't list anything compatible with my bike.
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you still have the center stand, all the rear work can be done while on the stand.
The front work can be done by placing a small block of wood under the bike between the oil drain plug and a floor jack. This lifts the front of the bike up. I usually lift the front until the rear wheel lightly touches.
The oil change itself can be done on the center stand without lifting the front.
Use this LINK to bleed the brakes.
