Default front fender

Hi ,

I want to get rid of the 92 model cbr1000f frontfender. Instead I want to fit a 93 or later model. I like those much more than the original.
My question, does it fit? Has anyone done this before?

Yes the later ones fit and it's a bolt-on swap: as easy as it gets and looks great too.
Check out my albums for some before/after pics.

Gen 1 and 2 front fenders are different, might work, but would probably need some jiggling. Another possibility to look into is the front fender from the VFR750.

I bolted a 93+ front fender on my 87 with no issues at all.

I stand corrected pmcg, I managed to get a NOS MK1 front fender a while back, but it wouldn't fir on my bike, but good to know the MK3 will slot right in.
