Default Factory clutch replacement interval

Ive got 17k miles on my 94 n was curious what kinda life im gonna get b4 the
factory clutch needs replacement considering regular use not abuse.

Depends on how the bike has been ridden of course but usually not less that 50k miles
Stunting launching and dragging etc. means a lot shorter life span

I was gonna say when it starts slipping! Just get one in stock before hand then it's not gonna spend any serious time off the road.

thanx guys looks like ive got some time. do i have to replace the springs or just the plates. ive never replaced one yet

17k miles, lol youre worried about nothing!

Ive seen stock clutches in 600's last over 100k. If its regular use, dont worry about it.

Wait till the clutch eventually starts to slip, then order a new one. When it just starts to slip, you'll have a bit of adjustment available which will enable tyou to keep riding till a newly ordered one arrives

Hell if you have it apart throw nice new stiff springs in there while you are at it. Like a lot of things, depending on age, they can go a bit soft the more you pull them. Just saying
