Default Exhaust

Hey guys I was looking for some advice for modding the exhaust on a 91 hurricane. I want something a bit louder, but don't want to have to mod the carbs any if possible. What kind of setup should I use? My understanding is that leaving the exhaust as a dual setup will minimize any required carb modifications, but I really have no idea.

When i bought my 1000f the ends of the muffler were drilled out.
I mean there were 8 holes drilled into the end of each muffler making if alot louder than stock (which i have now).
No carbie mods were done, if you want a picture sing out

Dam, for having eight holes those are big! I have three that big and five small ones on each pipe. I think I'll drill the others out that big in the morning. I'm just freakin out that it will start messing with the back pressure.

When I first drilled mine, I thought what have I done???? To me, it sounded like a leaky exhaust when I stood close t the bike. SO I drilled them out larger and they sounded somewhat better, but I still wasnt sure about the sound.

SO, my brother came to visit I let him drive it down the street so I could hear what it sounded like riding by. It sounded awesome!! Very unique sound.

Drilled mine out Friday morning. Now there are eight 3/8 inch holes in each can. Sounds freakin awesome!!! And runs just as well as it was before the holes were drilled so I was freakin out for nothin. Thanks for all the pics and advice! =D
