Honda CBR1000f k 1989 model - Fuel system pics
Hi Guys,
Does anyone out there have a schematic, diagram of the fuel system, vacuum hoses for the cbr 1000f - k 1989 model?
The tank is a gravity fed system into the carbs which are pretty clean & work fine from last recollection. The issue is that in cleaning out the Petcock & filter, the hoses/ fuel lines are all screwed up, missing, etc.
This, gentlemen (women) is the last piece or missing link in my quest for a blast on the open road!

1 the fuel line from petcock back around right side of tank feeding
carbs from right-hand side 89 -> 99 (87/88 feed from left unless
modded to right and or for gravity feed)
2 small vacuum petcock line to little elbow on carb #1
3 & 4 are the two breather hoses from the two top breather "T"s
for the top end of the carbs for the diaphragms - they should wrap back
around the back of the tank left and right hand side and are left "open"
to breath air.
Now if you have the Cali Emissons model then there'll be a whole heap of
extra spaghetti of lines in there ( and there's a thread out there on it to do with
ripping all that crap out )
Hear ya there Matt - I used to have an even more Hurricane specific version one time
but can't yet find that one - but when I do - I'll put it up
