Default CBR 1000F USD forks

Hi. On the begin I just want to say sory if I post that in wrong place.
I have question if any one of You ever did USD forks conversion on CBR 1000F I think about it since last winter and look for any directions.
I check front end form fireblade, wheel is 16" not 17" as on CBR1000f and any way forks are 3" shorter than CBR1000f so is no good at all.
My friend told me about someone who did front end conversion from hayabusa to blackbird, so that is something
If You know anythink about it or what kind of front end with USD forks be the best for CBR 1000f please help
Thank You

Welcome back Rad , not sure too many people here would have done that
but DragonCBR and CBR1988 have a good knowledge of swapping front forks

I'm no expert on this, but have pondered it. The CBR1000F has the same problem the old CB900/1100F has when it comes to USD front ends, the length. These forks are broomsticks compared to most modern setups. On the CB900/1100F the easiest solution is to use a GSXR1100WP setup and possibly it could work here too. If you aren't too fussed about steering lock you can most likely get away with just changing the GSXR spindle on the lower clamp to the Honda spindle. As I say I haven't tried it myself, just take it as an idea. I'm going a whole other route on mine, I'm going to use a CBR954 front end with a custom stretch. Will report on it when I get going with it and will let everyone know the pitfalls and advantages. Won't be for a few months though, budget is in tears

I think Rad , a complete Busa inverted setup with gold inverted forks on your black
Hurricane would be quite the looker. Bet it could be made to work handily enough
too imo

Hi. Thank You all for respond. All I want to say at the moment is that my "hania"(cbr1000f) is not a hurricane. I got 1996 cbr1000f Dual. I really wish to try do that conversion, I did have go on few bikes with had USD and basicly is much better. Thank You any way.
