Carbie / Throttle Spring
All,
The spring that is located on the carbie where the throttle cables join, you with me?.
Is there any way to re tension this spring.
When I rev the bike the throttle seems to lag and not return to idle quick enough.
Or do i need to buy a new one and install?

I had the same trouble with mine today when we changed the handlebars. Try moving the cables to give them the smoothest curves.
I've had the same problem with my Kawasaki when I took the switchblock off - went and bought new cables and everything - and it turns out they are just a bit fussy about routing.

Also check the free play in your throtle cables. If too tight they will hangup and not return normally. Had this problem on the Kid's race bike. He wanted instant throtle response so we set them tight. Sometimes had trouble passing tech. ispec. when they cheched throtle return. It had to snap shut to pass.
