Default Carb Kits for 90 1000F

Anyone used SCI carb Kits (Sirius, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada) on ebay and their own site

Ya get 4 mains, 4 pilots, 4 float valves and 4 fuel bowl gaskets less than 100 bucks shipped

Just wondering ?

Have a set of Gen 2 carbs I picked up cheap I want to rebuild

I saw on them on ebay also. Never used them, but they are great price and probably worth a try. Plus alot cheaper than OEM. I would use them if my carbs needed to be rebuilt.

Yes, pictures are a must but.......try to post only the ones in focus. Have a family member double check your work before posting pictures. If you have any questions about how to work your camera, don't be embarrassed to ask one of your children. It would be best not to ask our wife for help with the camera as she may know how to help but would rather simply laugh at you. The laughter will go on for hours and you will still be in the dark about the operation of your camera so, ask the children for help when needed. The children may snicker somewhat but they know who puts the bread on the table and will be more than willing to help a fumble bum with big hands that is desperately trying to post half way decent pictures of his used carbs on an internet forum to be critiqued by his fellow members.

god speed Sprock.....

I'm looking at one of those kits too Sprock. All this talk about bigger jets making starting easier is one good reason to give them a try, the other being that my carb gaskets are definitely way past their use by date. Ah, a third reason would be my new exhaust cans which appear to be creating less back pressure than the stocks. I can feel she needs a bit more squirt sometimes. I'm still not sure if it will make a huge amount of difference though. At least the kit isn't a fortune.

You are the most interesting carb rebuilder.

Also lean=hot. Difference isn't huge but just knowing your not burning hot is a better state of mind.
