Default Black filth

hey guys

anywone knows how to get rid of the accumulation of black filth due to 23 years of internal combustion?, Whenever I open the motor I do not burn oil , but leave a trail of black postcombustion particules LOL

Simple, you need to open her up more to clean it out. It's probably corn cob build up from the crappy fuel these days.

Run an open header and you'll never see it.
(although you'll hear it...lol)

Seriously, though, there isn't much you can do about it other than opening it up more often. You're likely running a bit rich, too, so maybe a less restrictive air filter.

Most of it's probably coming from inside the exhaust. It needs to be knocked loose or burned loose. Here the guys use a torch, heat up the pipes and bang them hard to loosen the cr..p .......
(Same style as we used to use with 2 stroke boxes back in the day)

mm I won't bang on my Supertraap, guess i'll need to find anoher way, mm not running rich it is stock so i guess i will not open her in front of a cabriolet.

With that said, That's what may be causing it. I have seen other bikes with super Trapps that look like the post combustibles build up in the disks. The exhaust is dispersed 360° through several disks and you don't get a high enough flow to keep it clean at low RPM. I think it's normal.

Maybe use oven cleaner - then wash it out........................
