Aftermarket Rear Shock

Aftermarket Rear Shock
Guys,
For those that have replaced their rear shock which brand did you go for ? I'm looking at Hagon, Wilbers etc. I realise they are expensive but its a case of getting what you pay for I suppose......I dont want to go down the path of a second hand OEM. I'd just rather get a new aftermarket one. Thanks.

I went with the Hagon Bordo, was about £300, but was worth it.
I was of the same opinion as you, I had a used OEM shock in the garage, but thought if I was going to do the job, why not use the best parts I can afford?
Rebuilt the front forks with Hagon progressive springs as well at the same time. They were only about £80.
Bike feels much tighter now, I think we all appreciate a tight ride

Thanks Hawk,
I've made enquires with Wilbers locally and I think I'm going to go with their 540 Eco shock. Its built for me with my weight and pillion requirements in mind. It has a 5 year guarantee and if I do have any problems with it I can deal with someone here instead of overseas. They aren't cheap at $614 AUD but its good quality and will last a long time. It only has spring adjustment and not preload and rebound but for what I do on it thats fine. The ones that do are a bit more expensive of course.
