Powder coat the frame. I would still comment on it and you. while you have the motor down and open, might as well to the CCT. As for the plugs looks like they still have life in them...

Does anyone have a good place to get the cam chain? I can get the tensioner at cheapcycleparts.com but i think the chain they sell is the 1 piece and I dont want to split the cases. Thanks

Red frame??? We'd probably talk about you more than to you. It's your bike mate, do what you want. Red frames look great with lots of black on the rest of the bike. I s'pose camchains would be like any other to determine wear, grab the chain right in the middle of the sprocket and see if you can lift it off at all.

Good to see the inside looking so clean! Make sure there's plenty of pics in your gallery mate...

I think my bike may end up looking like yours does right now pretty soon. I think I've decided that a complete tear down is probably in the best interest of the bike. I am in California and was so fortunate to have gotten an out of state bike. No lame emissions equipment installed.

Good luck with it. I can't really offer any good advice YET. Any idiot with a screwdriver and a socket set can rip one apart. Right now I'm that idiot. The hard part is putting it back together. It's a slippery slope. I want to replace everything while it's apart so the bills keep adding up. Start a thread so we can see your progress.

That looks like a real fun project you have. Ronayers.com has the cam chain you're looking for, $100. Part # is 14401-MM5-015
