Default 1990 honda cbr1000f, pictures of my bike

For those who seen my other posts, questions and current issue I have with the bike.

I bought used a few weeks ago.

But here is some pictures, Id like to fix a few things on it and maybe repaint it, once I get the charging issue resolved.

Ryan, I'm about to pick up a 1990 myself.....same color, too. You can see my full post in the same forum this one is in. I'm psyched, as I've known about this bike since the mid 90's......pretty interesting story. Good luck with yours!

Nice pics Webbie, Hope you work out you charging issues, never use a suspect battery in a CBR, about the only weak part in the bike is the R/R and using a less than perfect battery only makes things worse.

I'm getting no volts from the stator, so I'm suspectin that's the issue, as I have replaced the battery 2 times and the rr.

And I'm definitely not getting any charging to the battery.

I've checked the 3 yellow wires from stator .

I'll know Wednesday when it goes in the shop, they can confirm if I'm right or ect. Then go from there.

Jarvid...that's not the bike I'm getting with the charging issue. This is another new member's recent purchase....

Jarvid's right about the battery. Also check your connections and grounds

One thing i have learned about the battery, is constant riding helps.

Assess your needs from there. There's wise minds in this chapter.

Though I'm not one of them
