Awesome clip![sm=groupwave.gif]My '89 will do it with out power braking. But mine has the original tire from 1989 still on it Lol. It probably won't do it after I put my 180 section on it.Kep the vids coming. I want more!!!

Linked brakes make it hard on the newer models:P

Actually no it doesn't. The front brake caliper needs to pivot a little to open the valve to give the rears some pressure. So if the front wheel isn't spinning, there is no rear brakepressure when the front is applied.

I bet there wasn't much mileage left on that rear tire after that.! I should've done that with mine before I took my old tire off! Too late now... plus it's cold and snowy outside.

hey chuck

i have re- sprocked my bike from stock 160mph top end to 140mph
cures a bunch of problems like

front tire lift when punching it
at the end 1/4 mile i was hiting the revlimiter at end of 4 gear now lots of room in 5 gear
over all the bike droped .3 in the 1/4 mile
my bike would bog out in 3nd gear burnout launches

problem made worse it eats back tires

the best time for burnout launches is when it cold TWICE THE SMOKE vid from november

i tell my wife end of riding season burnouts means new tire for next season MUCH SAFER

So burnout can be done straight off from 3rd gear? I thought it was all done in first... because I've not seen people change gears during burnouts

On the fron tire lift... do you mean it took it away when you chaged the gearing? I figured it would make it worse. I went on a long high speed ride and got my old tire hot enough it actually grabbed and lifted the front without bouncing it. Once! I always like power wheelies Not too shabby for a 500lb bike that's 19years old.
