Default Honda CBR 250 Insurance In Ontario

Okay So I`ve been asking my buddies about getting Insurance and who they are with...

Most of them Say statefarm gives good rates...

So I call them up today and start chatting with the guy and as soon as I tell him I`ve had my Drivers licence for Under 5 years he stops and says sorry I cant help you...You have to be licenced for 5 years...

Is it like this everywhere??? I`ve already put my deposit down at the dealership and Trying to get my Insurance done but I dont know where to go?

Help???

I checked the search for this related thread but i got so much filler for the US side of things. Canada doesnt have Geico and alot of the threads have that as a good company

I just got my bike insured with State Farm. actually I switched my car insurance+renters insurance to state farm also so that I can get a wicked rate for my bike. (a little under 700$ a year, and I have a 600cc). As long as you have been driving for over 6 years, We will take you.

State farm is number 1 in Ontario.
The go by engine size only and I pay $70/month for full coverage on my F4i.
Sucks they wont let you.
What part of Ontario are you in?
There is a decent place in Kitchener called Pioneer that specializes in motorcycle insurance.

I was told that if you are over 25, then ridersplus is good too.

I`m In Mississauga. Yeah Both State farm places said no basically. I can try The Pioneer place and see what they say, Else I`ll have to cancel the deal and wait another year....

I`ve basically been driving for 4.5 years according to the MTO. So just because I have less than 5 years driving I cant get Motorcycle Insurance????
I got a Quote for a 2010 Lancer Evolution and it was like 3500 a year for that car... but they refuse to give me a quote....

Guess I`m going to have to cancel the deal then....

I think TD does insurance, One of my buddies has it thru them.

Try everyone you can, it doesn't hurt:

Best Motorcycle Insurance Rates - Kitchener / Waterloo Street Motorcycles, Cruisers, Choppers For Sale - Kijiji Kitchener / Waterloo Canada.
