Default Gas milage on a 2001 F4i

Hey folks!

What is your average gas milage for those of you who own a 2001 or 2002 F4i? I'm getting about 120 to 130 in traffic and a tad more than that on freeways and canyons. This seems a little low given a 4.7 gallon tank??

I max at 130-140 miles per tank. I usually expect the reserve lights to come one around 110-120 if i topped the tank off on the previous fill. thats a tad less than 30mpg. i thought a 600 would of done better....

I have a scorpion slip-on and +2 rear sprocket and I usually hit reserve around 135. This is with a mix of highway and some backroads.

I get around 50mpg. Do mostly highway with some twist off country driving. If i keep it under the 80mph it will go till 160 before the reserve kicks in.

130-150 sounds about right judging from my 02. Really depends on how hard I'm riding it.

Consider at what RPMs you usually ride. If I'm highway cruising I pop it into top gear as soon as possible.

I do twisties and some highway and I get about 45 mpg. My reserve lights don't come on till around 160. I also get into 6th gear as fast as possible when riding on the highway or around town. I often will accelerate through 3rd and then just pop it up into 6th once I am at speed.

Hopefully the closest gas station wasn't too far away
