It took me a few hours and in total about $10 to come up with this bracket so don't bash on it. I'm gonna eventually re do it and make a nice one now that i have a template and an idea. I was making this one up as i went. Its better then having that big ugly thing in the back.

 

hey i did the exact same thing just as a temp plate when i got my first bike. But i painted the silver coloured bracket black. give that a try, when its black it almost becomes invisible, it'll blend in underneath the bike, looks great for what it is.

 

thanks. that's what i was thinking to do paint it black. But i still wanna re do this one just cause i know i drilled bunch extra holes there and not all the pieces are same length.

 

Thats the setup I'm gonna try, was wondering how many inches you are up from the tire to keep it from hitting?
