ok so a friend of mine layed my bike down about a week ago I havent really driven it since then today I jump on it to take it on a spin around the block and when I hit the breaks the front wheel kinda shakes and feels like its just sliding on the road what could be causing this?

Bent brake disk ~ probably on the side it was laid down on. imo
Yeah, wobbly during breaking usually means a bent or warped rotor.

HAHAHAHA ya might as well have an old brake drum off a truck on there. They feel the same way.
Be careful if you don't replace it!

Wow you let your friend ride your bike and he layed it down! I would make him pay for the repair and replacement of the parts on your bike. More than likely you have bent your disk or the brake pads have been knocked out of alignment. If he layed it down really hard, its possible he bent your forks too. If you don't know how to replace it yourself, take it to a Honda dealer or a good bike shop and have them fix it for you. You can't afford to have your front end go out under you.

My bike group grabs each other's bikes all the time. Then again, we're all friends, and we all have a good amount of riding experience.

is there any sure way of looking for any warpage in the rotors?

Are there signs of impact anywere on it? I would spin it while on the forks andvisually inspect it for deformities (while you spin it). See if it binds on the brake at a certain position. You could also use something that is definitely straight, like a level or a metal ruler, and place it flat on the disk. This would indicate low & high spots,if any.
