Hello,

I am selling my CBR 600 and I am not having much luck with it, so in addition to advertise here I would be grateful if you could advice me on what am I doing wrong.

OK this is the bike specs:
CBR 600 FY registered 2001 Y reg but 2000 model (ie one frontal lights not 2)
It's NOT an import
No modifications apart to the optional OXFORD hot grips
Alarmed and Immobiliser META (top of the range one)
NEW MOT
9700 miles

The only bad bit is that there is a small scratch on the sticker (not fairing) where I lost balance of the bike from still whilst parking it and I had to rest it on the floor.

there is nothing wrong with this bike yet I am not gaining any interest. I put it up for sale for a reasonable £3500 on Biketrader when similar bikes advertised for more or older bikes sold for the same £. On ebay I have been let down once and they are not offering more than 2700 which is absoulutely ridicolus, I am so unhappy that such a good looking bike is just parked and if I don't use it the battery will go flat, and my insurane expires in a few days so I will not be able to ride it either..

I bought this bike for £4800 last august (2003) and I cannot believe that I am having so much truble selling it :( that I am by the way because i bought a car instead.

I am prepared to accept a reasonable offer, and also to accept advice.

Have you tried selling it on Ebay?? I dont know where you live, but from the description it sounds as if you are overseas..but Ebay is worldwide

Sorry but what part of the description  makes you assume that I am abroad??!?

Infact I am in Kent and if you read the post properly you can read that I have already put if up for sale on Ebay.

Thanks for taking time and give me your thoughts anyway :)
