Stampede Kills Man, Pregnant Woman Miscarries in Valley Stream Walmart
A 34-year-old worker was stomped to death after hundreds of people piled into an opening Long Island Walmart Friday morning for Black Friday deals.
A Walmart worker was trampled to death in a Long Island Walmart on the morning of Black Friday - and a pregnant woman suffered a miscarriage after hundreds of deal-seeking people rushed the doors of the retail store.
The pregnant woman was found knocked over before being transferred to a local hospital. According to a news report, paramedics said the woman suffered a miscarriage.
The worker, who was killed after trying to slow down the unruly and rushing crowd of shoppers, was also found on the ground. A co-worker tells the NY Daily News: "He was bum-rushed by 200 people."
"They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too...I literally had to fight people off my back."

I work at Walmart. It was a madhouse this morning. This chick ran up to me with the $97 gps with scratches all over her face said she had to fight for it. At 5 am when the sale started and it went from dead quiet to sounding like a football stadium crowd.

Something like that happens every year on black friday.. I don't understand why people get like that.. even if it was unintentional cause of the commotion I've heard about people getting violent about stuff too... like that one guy who was shot while in line for a ps3. Just ridiculous.

No sympathy for the pregnant bimbo out in line, she must know its gonna get crazy. I wouldnt let my preggo GF/wife in the pit at a metal show, your gonna get pushed, she should have stayed home.
