Hey Guys. I just replaced some fairings on my 07 1000rr. I also replaced my clutch cover. Now my bike won't start! It will simply crank the starter, but the engine won't fire. I tried toggling the engine kill switch back and forth, as well as cycling the key back and forth a few times, but to no avail.
Any ideas??

when you turn the key on, can you hear the fuel pump prime.? You can usually hear it the same time the tach is cycling.
If not. Is your bank angle sensor hooked up? Its the sensor that is mounted to your headlight. If its not hooked up, it will not allow the pump to kick on.

^^ also if you did hook it up but mounted it upside down that will make it think your bike is flipped over :P ... probably what you did , its very common mistake

I assume the bank angle sensor is the one that mounts inbetween the headlights with 2 nuts? Perhaps i did mount it upside down. Is there a reset procedure for it once it is re-positioned, or will it work again when i re-position it?
THanks for the help.

yes just flip it over.. no reset it should fire right up , but it may take a few tries since youve tried to start it so much already

As a new guy, I like to honor those that came before me. As a result of that, I will take the burden of the cold one. PM me for my address.
