the reason why is bc mine are a bit bend, aftergoing over a curve! ( i tryed to fly but it was not that successful)and i though while am replacing forks why not upgrade, and k1 i meant 1000rr
Nope, not gonna work........But if thats what your intentions are. Use the R1 forks, because they are already black....w00t!!!!!
Use the top and bottom 929/954 triple clamps. Then use forks, brakes, wheel, rotor and axle off of a R1.
Basically anything with a 50MM fork tube diameter will work, as long as u use the 929/954 triple clamps. Keep in mind that u have to use forks, brakes, wheel, rotor and axle off of whatever the forks come from........But im just showing how it would work....=-)
R1 front end on the F4i........=-)

1000rr will work just fine, a body of mine did that. check it out http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/1451263/
I have 1000rr forks on my 954. The 1000 forks are about an inch shorter. Other then that you have to replace the rotors and calipers. If you get the spacers on the 07 1000rr for the caliper you can use the larger 954 rotors. Pretty easy to do.
