CBRclassic 10-05-2008, 06:51 PM Yer I know guys that fly around like little rocket men may need to be a bit more exact as far as preasure goes.. but.... The Manual recommends around 36 psi front 42 psi rear So that's what I use ... give or take 1-2 lbs .. persona;;y... as long as it feels ok riding her ...I do not even bother checking them .. After 2,345 years on the road , you get to know the feel pretty well ;) usetheffours 10-05-2008, 07:55 PM I run mine at 33 front and 35 rear. It just feels better to me with less pressure. JeremyGSU 10-06-2008, 09:22 AM I run 38F, 38R. Michelin Pilot Roads. Aken 10-06-2008, 02:26 PM Around 42 each for every day riding (I take my gf with a lot so extra pressure in the tires is good). ~35 each if I'm hitting the twisties by myself. scastillo13 10-06-2008, 02:51 PM I might sound like a nerd, lol, but it should be specified on ur frame... mine are front; 35, rear: 42 dave ls1 10-06-2008, 04:37 PM Start with 36F/42R and tweak it for your weight and tire combo. I like 34/42 myself, Pilot Powers. LIM118469 10-06-2008, 04:55 PM if ur just riding around on the streets, 36 front and 42 rear (measured cold), r good. if you're in the canyon start at about 31-32 front and about 34-36 in the rear. if u go back n forth betweencanyon and city streets it'sgood to keep the pressure adjusted to the right PSI, it will help your tires last longer, i had a set of Battle AX 015 andkeep them @ like 32/34 and theywere like completely worn at the 5k mile mark, properly adjusting thePSI, igot a set of corsa 3 to about 8k. sluijs01 10-07-2008, 02:32 PM ORIGINAL: CBRclassic The Manual recommends around 36 psi front 42 psi rear So that's what I use ... give or take 1-2 lbs .. CBRclassic, do they use PSI in Australia? I figured it was an SI unit that you used? |
