Default F4i gauge swap almost done.......

so anyway i just hooked up my new f4i gauges not 5 minutes ago. to see the tach sweep and the MPH count down for the first time was the best thing i ever saw. i just thought i would write about it and let the other f3 guys out there know not only was it super easy but looks great. for all you who want to post[sm=ttiwwp.gif] don't worry i will post pictures tomorrow i am just finishing my mount for the gauge ( made out of plexy glass ) and i still have to put in the new temp sender sense my temp gauge said the motor was 261 and hasn't been started all day. lol. over all it took about 1 1/2 good hours to get it all hooked up and used simple male female conectors that you get a autozone and of course electrical tape when everything is mounted and hooked up. the mount took about 2 hours just beause i had to take it off and on to get it to fit and it is still not done just yet. i have a little bit more triming just to get the look right and then i have to paint it. almost done can't wait to get it on the road for some test runs. Sweet I have the same F4I gauges mounted on my F3 also. They work alot better then the stock gauges when looking at a quick glance.

I got mine from a kid on my local board. You just gotta search ebay all the time. I have seen them go for as little as 60 - 70
