Was this a very popular color in 2003? I have been looking at one locally but have not really seen this color around, and teh dealer said it was a rare color for 2003. Any truth to this?

no, it was one of the standard colors honda built for 2003. it wasn't like limited edition or repsol paint mang.

HELL NO....the dealer probably told you that b/c they knew they could find one quick and rip you a new asshole for one. COMMON COLOR! Shop around online.

I know this isn't the color but if your interested a friend of a friend is selling an 03' red/silver, around 2300 miles split seat, fender eliminator, integrator, flush mounts, tinted visors, xenon headlights, cbr grips, chrome bar ends, micron high mount exhaust,asking $6,500 i ll throw in a red black and white racing jacket.

The dealer was not saying is was a limited edition or anything but rather a color that is not seen often. It has 6300 miles on it and asking $5800. Is that a decent price? Price seems average for around here in southern Illinois.

the 03 f4i is a good bike but the 02 is really the best of the f4i's honda started tuning down the f4i in 03 do to the arrival of the 600rr so if you could find one i would go with an 02 and its a year older so you will save 600-700 bucks, they are identical bikes just the 02 has a little more umph, as for the color it's on the 01-03 f4i's and they are all very abundent i actually think the black and silver is the most abundant, i personally think the silver and red f4i is rarer.

Mine has 3900 miles and I only want $6k obo ;)
