Does the gasket come off when you install a new cctl
If it does i found a shop to install a new one for 300. If it doesent come off easy price doubles. since he has to take of more parts to scrap old gasket off
wow...doubles if he has to scrap off the gasket...that's ridiculous....ugh....i think whether it is stuck on is dependent on the bike, it may or may not stick....either way, i still think $600 bones to replace a CCTL is robbery
Ya i know he said more parts will have to come off so he can scrap it. I dont know what to do though is it hurting anything the way it is now?
When i replaced my CCTL the gasket was stuck to the CCTL. And what is a mechanic doing asking you questions... what a clown. Anyway, from my experience it should come off stuck to the CCTL which in your case is good. Unfortunately though its kind of a toss up. Good luck
