I have -1 infront and can clutch up 1st and 2nd no problem if you do a -1 +2 you should definately get a speedo healer, as not only will your speed be off, your odometer will be greatly affected. throwed_dc 08-05-2008, 03:07 PM how much more did -1 in the front help you over stock? WOT 08-05-2008, 03:08 PM I recommend the RK quick accel kit.It was an easy install. The conversion will screw up your speedo. throwed_dc 08-05-2008, 04:07 PM does that kit help alot>? DBEAU 08-05-2008, 04:45 PM I'm only 2 up in the rear, can pull wheelies good and my gas mileage is still average. it won't throw off your speedo by nearly any also. To answer your question, yes it does help alot. throwed_dc 08-05-2008, 07:04 PM thx for all the input, now to decide on what route im taking... might just do -1F , +1 R WOT 08-06-2008, 10:38 AM ORIGINAL: throwed_dc does that kit help alot>? Not really sure what you mean by "help". You gain low end and lose top end, your speedo will be off, but you can wheelie more easily. The kit is nice because it comes with everything, including the correct length chain. You can get away without buying a chain tool to cut and rivet, but I would recommend just getting the tool and doing it right. |
