I lost the key, so can you have another one made easy or do you have to buy another igniton, someone told me the key was diffrent and hard to make and it would cost a bunch....thanks for any help

well you can get the ignition re keyed or buy a new one.

Don't forget about your tank...unless you have something 1ike a vortex with no key.

Just price out a new ignition on Ebay or the for sale section here and compair it with the cost of a dealer to get ya a key. Never been there so I wish I had more insight.

Had this happen to me about two weeks ago. I Lost the Key to my 05 600rr. i took the ignition off and found a key code on the back of it. My bike was a 6 digit number and the last three digits were the code. Just take that code to the Honda dealership and they can cut you a new key. I got two new keys for 6 bucks.

So there is someone else(s) sharing the same key to my bike? hmm... :eek:

I'm sure 3 people in Japan/China/India all have their own respective matching key copies of yours :P
